Chimneys Hotel built in 1925, previously known as The Trust and was mainly frequented by miners who worked in the Blackhall Colliery. A few years ago, the hotel was renamed Chimneys and in 2008 underwent a major refurbishment, including the decorating of all bedrooms and bathrooms, lounge, bar and as well as modernising the restaurant and adding a beer garden (to be enjoyed in the better weather).All eight of the hotel bedrooms are now en suite and all have digital televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and all offer free wi-fi. Now completely refurbished the hotel is very comfortable and a warm welcome awaits all. Onsite bar, lounge, function rooms and restaurant.
